Photo Booth... and Footage!

Life is good in Bluffdale these days... we are reveling in the warm spring.  Peter seems to enjoy the sunshine almost as much as his daddy, which could become a problem since his skin seems to be more like mama's.  He loves being outside.  We've taken him on lots of long walks, and look forward to his first hike in the near future!  Can't wait to hit the Uintas.

Our little guy is officially 10 pounds!

Just got back from church.  Cameron is the assistant ward clerk, and his first charge is updating the ward map --- a big task since the neighborhood next to ours has a few dozen new houses being built.  Meredith is the ward family history consultant, and is learning a lot about genealogy.  She feels like she has a long way to go.  We love our ward, and have found many supportive and loving friends.

There.  We reported on life a bit just so no one accuses us of solely posting Peter pictures on our blog.  But we wouldn't want to deprive you of a few new ones!

We caught some fun expressions yesterday:

"Quelle suprise!  Another photo shoot."

"I'm still catching on to standard social cues at the Nelson house.  Like, when daddy makes that face, do I laugh or cry?"

"Aw thanks... you're adorable too."

"Er... mama, I think we need to pause the photo shoot for some emergency maintenance.  Like, now."

"Do not question my high sense of fashion."

"I'm so glad when daddy comes home!"

"Mortality... it's all so mysterious."

What do you think?  Does Peter look like Cameron at his age (2 months)?

And finally!  Some footage.  Only die-hard Peter fans will want to watch all four minutes, but there are some fun coos and smiles throughout.  (Just ignore silly mama!)

A few more Peter pics.

Sporting great-grandma Nonie's show-stopping hat

Enjoying the bathtub great aunt Martha gave him

After the bath (before we rub him down with coconut oil)

A little startled by the post-bath cold

Yes, he's in there!  Thanks to Aunt Melissa for the moby wrap.  Best ever.

Napping with Aunt Abby.
Cuddling with Mama.
Playtime with Daddy
Wish we could ever catch one of his big smiles with the camera.  We'll get it someday!

Til next time!
