Peter Eats a Lemon

I know in the movie I say it is an orange, but it turns out it was actually a real lemon.

We found Peter that morning with a whole lemon in hand, having taken a few nibbles out of the rind, and giggling as he did so.  Later I peeled it for him, and let him taste it for real!  He got a big kick out of it.

I filmed it on my iPad, and unfortunately did so vertically.  Tedious as that might make it to watch, you will be glad if you watch to the end. :)

In other gastronomical exploits by our young thrill-seeker, here is a photo of him giggling whilst eating a pineapple.  Sorry for the fuzziness...

Nana gave Peter a toy in December to help him practice walking.  The first time we put him behind it, he took off!  Still not walking free-style yet, but it's pretty cute to watch him toddle around the house this way.  (He needs to work on steering... but we wouldn't want him to get too dependent on it anyway!)

Over New Year's we went to Zion National Park where Cameron captured a few beauties like this one:

Our boy now has five teeth and now is desperately working on a few more (all night, every night).  Isn't he beautiful?

  1. Thanks for sharing that video! We both got a kick out of Peter's reaction, and that cute laugh. I've definitely seen my little boys do that same "wow" shudder when trying exciting foods!
